Chadwick Arboretum

Chadwick Arboretum

Despite the traffic, buildings and concrete common to any metropolitan area, The Ohio State University offers many green areas for students to enjoy. Among them are the Chadwick Arboretum and Learning Gardens, an extensive reserve of more than 60 acres within the 1,600-acre Columbus campus.

Taking a walk through this beautiful area after class, students may come across the Cultivar Trial Gardens, the student-designed and -built enCORE Solar House, the Bloch Cancer Survivors’ Plaza and gardens along Lane Avenue that include a Chartres-style labyrinth.
